Description
Queen Anne Grade I listed building, erected 1704 in the heart of old Hampstead. Original panelled rooms, fine 'barley sugar' staircase balusters, and delightful Music Room with panelling from adjacent Weatherall House, now demolished. Art Gallery with exhibitions by local artists. Hampstead Local History Museum incorporating displays ranging from prehistoric to modern times, illustrating lives of many notable local residents, the Health and Spa. Includes the Helen Allingham collectio, Constable displays and Isokon chair.
